Kindergarten Groups

Our “Blue” and “Yellow” Kindergarten Groups are located in two separate classrooms and tailored for children aged 3 to 6 (7). Led by a dedicated teacher and supported by an assistant, each class accommodates up to 12 children, ensuring a personalized learning experience.

Within the Kindergarten Groups, children embark on a journey of literacy development through engaging and enjoyable activities. Our curriculum integrates the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness program alongside other kindergarten activities, providing a comprehensive foundation for reading and writing skills.

To enrich the learning experience, both Kindergarten Groups participate in regular field trips or walks every other week, promoting exploration and hands-on learning beyond the classroom.

Encouraging collaboration between younger and older children, our mixed-age groups foster cooperation and empathy. Classes are conducted in small groups, allowing teachers and assistants to target each child’s individual skills and levels.

For younger children (3-4 years old), the focus is on fostering independence and acquiring essential social and cognitive skills. Meanwhile, older kids (5-6 years old) are prepared for school through structured activities that align with their developmental stage.

In addition to academic development, we prioritize English language proficiency through music, Total Physical Response (TPR) techniques, and play-based activities. These innovative approaches not only enhance language skills but also make learning enjoyable and memorable.

In order to prepare for school, the children in the Kindergarten Group have structured classes following these Learning Areas:

  • Language&Speech (4 times per week)
  • Environment&Me (3 times per week)
  • Math (3 times per week)
  • Art (3 times per week)
  • Music and Movement classes (3 times per week)
